What sparked your interest in construction and led you to pursue it as a career?
I grew up in concrete. From an early age on my dad and uncles jobs learning many aspects of the buisness.
How do you balance the physical demands of your job with your personal life and hobbies?
I try to leave office stuff at the office.

I like to spend my down time bass fishing. Also watching the kids in their sporting events.
What's the most challenging project you've worked on, and how did you overcome obstacles?
Ive been a part of many large scope projects . With many projects , especially the larger ones there are always obstacles. I learned early on to handle things with a level head. In construction. There are no problems, only solutions.
Do you have any role models or mentors in the construction industry? If so, how have they influenced your career?
I’d say the old school concrete guys that I grew up around. They tackled everything head on and with hard work.
If you could build anything in the world, what would it be and why?
I’ve always wanted to work on a big bridge build.
How do you stay updated on new construction techniques, materials, and technologies?
Its a lot easier these days with the technology that we have. There are so many great trade shows and websites. We really try to balance the old school way with the modern to stay on the cutting edge of the industry.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career in construction?
hat you can overcome so much with hard work. Strive to be the first one there and the last one to leave everyday.
